What are Fish Pads?
What makes them different?
Fish Pads contain live fish! They fully adjust to the shape of your feet. And provide an unmatched comfort which even beats the comfort of regular gel insole pads.
Fish Pads are cushion insole pads designed especially for High Heels. They can be worn in any type of High Heeled shoe: Sandals, Pumps, Boots and even Wedges.
Who are they for?
The Fish Pads are ideal for working professionals. Who often don’t have any choice but to wear High Heels throughout the whole work day or night.
How do they work?
Opposed to regular cushion pads, Fish Pads contain live fish! But don’t worry: You won’t ever get to see or touch any of the fish. They are hermetically enclosed in a water-tight and sealed bladder inside the Fish Pads. Together with some water, supply of oxygen and some food supply. The Fish Pads are guaranteed to be fully tight and they will not leak. No smell. No drip. No fuss. They look like normal cushion pads and can be treated like normal cushion pads. But the magic starts to happen when you start to wear them: Under pressure, the fishes will start wiggling and moving within the Fish Pads. Trying to find the optimal position. It is this adjustment which makes the difference. And which guarantees the best comfort for your feet.
Standard Fish Pads vs. Massage Fish Pads
Standard Fish Pads contain live fish. Once you will start wearing the Standard Fish Pads, the fish will wiggle and will take the optimal position to cushion your feet. But after you take a few steps, the fish will die and will remain in that position. This will ensure that the excellent cushioning effect will remain for minimum 2 years of wear.
Massage Fish Pads contain live fish, too. But the selection of fish is a stronger and more durable type of fish. Those fish were bred, raised and even trained especially for that purpose: To sustain externally applied weight. Thanks to that, the fishes in the Massage Fish Pads are able to stay alive for 14 days of wear. During these 14 days, the wiggling motion of the fish inside the Massage Fish Pads provide a gentle massage to your feet.
After about 14 days of wear, the fishes in the Massage Fish Pads will die and will come to rest in the optimal position and shape. Providing continued cushioning for a minimum 2 years of wear.
Shoe Size and Body Weight
Depending on your shoe size and your body weight, we will equip the Fish Pads with the matching number and size of fish.
Knowing your body weight is important for us. So that we can pick the right size and amount of fishes to provide the optimal cushioning comfort for your shoe size and body weight. This way we can ensure that the pressure is evenly distributed among the right number of fishes. Don’t worry if you lose or gain a few kilos of body weight: The fishes can compensate a lot!
How to install the Fish Pads
The Fish Pads are shipped in a discreet package. The Fish Pads are self-adhesive and you can easily stick them into the front (ball and toe section) of your high heeled shoes. No need to remove the existing insole first. It doesn’t matter if the shoes are new or already used. And the Fish Pads work great for any style of high heeled shoes: Sandals, pumps, peep-toe shoes and boots.
If you would like to remove your Fish Pads from your shoes, simply lift off one end of the Fish Pads and gently tear them off the insole. The Fish Pads will come off without leaving any glue or residue behind in the shoes.
